This mirror, utilizing ion beam sputtering thin film technology, minimizes scattering and absorption losses commonly seen in mirrors produced by other conventional thin film processes. It has almost zero group delay dispersion (GDD) in the design wavelength range, minimizing the dispersion of the reflected beam!

The "High-Performance Low GDD Ultra-Short Pulse Mirror" is designed to achieve high reflectivity at incident angles of 0° or 45°, making it suitable for beam steering applications using ultrafast lasers. This mirror features a dispersion-compensating coating obtained through a precise IBS (Ion Beam Sputtering) deposition process, resulting in lower scattering and absorption characteristics compared to conventional dielectric film laser mirrors.
